What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Retention. I worked there for almost 4 years but only had an actual mgr that i reported directly for the 1st 6 mo or so. After that, it was a fend for yourself; Dog eat dog environment that was impossible to grow or thrive within!!
Anything is an improvement with the current team theg have. They just will not do anything.
Management need to be examples of founders philosophy of positive thinking
Leadership team has a lot of big egos and don't live out the words they say. Only one of C-level executives is authentic, humble, and a true leader.

I've never had a more selfish, self-centered, lying salesman as a manager. He makes sure he has sales every week and never helps his team; what's left anyone...Turn over is VERY VERY high.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The best part about my compensation package is its competitive structure and the potential for earning bonuses based on performance. It's rewarding to see my hard work directly correlate with financial incentives.

I get everything I sell plus 401.k matching plus 150,000 a year salary can't beat that after all

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Staying pay was less than the average industry standard for a comparable position elsewhere! Definitely openly pitted against your peer team mates for an annual merit increase; available only IF the company was profitable at years end. No cost if living increases available. Didn't warn your worth!!
I left the Company for a better future!
It is about production numbers and not focused on the value of serving the customer or supporting the agent
The company is known for paying below market value. And the longer you stay, the more undervalued you become.

They promise the world and deliver on nothing. Their sales school makes the company look like an amazing opportunity but after a few days in the field you'll realize it was the worst mistake you ever made!

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
IT was an every man look out for themselves Type of environment. My teammate had 30 yrs if experience nut refused to help train me properly and she got away with it!!
They are discouraged with dissatisfied clients who haven't seen an agent over 5 years

Our office is motivated and know how to motivate others.
I created my own office environment.
I had a specialty 'Niche' type of position which turned out to be both a blessing and a curse. Unable to get proper training. No formalized program available!
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
They train positive thinking but upper management embrace negative thinking
The company is an old-fashioned company run like a dictatorship and there is little room to challenge or question mandates from top with little room for creativity.

Your clients call at ALL hours of the day and night...I've had client calls me at 4AM, midnight, 6AM; they expect you to move mountains when they buy a $15 policy!

It was fast and communicative
Information was easy to understand and made it very appealing
It was not long and unnecessarily drawn out. There was a HR interview anf then a 2 person panel interview w/ front linr mgmt w/ very basic situational questions being asked then the job offer came next!

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The entire company culture should br scrapped, rebranded and re-introduced snd maybe that may help to increase employee morale. Many are unhappy abd just ' going thrust the motions' regarding work responsibilities and tasks!

They have high agent turn over. Michigan had 80 agents now only 4
Leadership doesn't allow critical thinking. Large consensus from co-workers that leadership wants robots that do what they're told.
