Best company I have worked for

Cradlepoint is just a job. The strategy is not clear since Ericsson acquired the company. There has been a ton of hiring over the past 2 years, and not all of those hires are good. The culture is suffering as a result. It is unclear what the plan for return to office vs remote is. No stock or equity

I love to work here.

Courage, tenacity, creativity coupled with smart business decisions.

Strategy, culture, communication, accountability. Basically everything.

The exec team has not given a strategy update since the Ericsson acquisition a year and a half ago. The culture is in decline and no one seems to care. The HQ is in Boise, but the whole exec team has been replaced with Silicon Valley people. It is very hard to figure out what the plan is.

The base salary is pretty competitive.

I like the insurance policy especially the 0 prescription copay for generics

I can't think of anything remarkable.

The individual contributors who pre-date the Ericsson acquisition, or who were hired by managers who believe in the Cradlepoint culture, are great to work with. I was lucky to be on a team with those folks.

They create a wonderful culture and sense of community.

I work with super-talented engineers who legitimately care about designing and building the best possible solutions and doing what is right for our customers. The team does not have big egos, and everyone helps each other out.

Longtime employees of Cradlepoint are very invested in the success of the company, the success of our products, and doing what it right for the customer. Those employees will stand up for the culture and values of the company.

I got to speak to a variety of people in different roles across the business.

I like the exposure that interviewees get to a variety of functions and senior execs at the company

It was very rushed. All interviews were 30-45 minutes one-on-one. I was asked about the same thing several times. There were lots of hypotheticals and very little actual vetting of my qualifications.
