Mr. David S. Koziak has been Principal of Nashville at CresaPartners LLC since August 21, 2017. Mr. Koziak has been Principal at Newmark Knight Frank since September 2006. Mr. Koziak joined the Nashville office in 2006. As principal, Mr. Koziak helps ensure the growth and success of the Tennessee market. Specializing in tenant representation, he has extensive expertise in office and industrial transaction work, financial analysis, contract execution and strategic planning. Prior to his affiliation with Cresa, Mr. Koziak co-founded the Newmark Knight Frank office in Nashville where he earned an ongoing designation as a 'Heavy Hitter' in commercial real estate in the annual ranking by the Nashville Business Journal. Previous to Newmark, he served as a director of office leasing for Grubb & Ellis Centennial, by whom he was recognized annually as a member of their national 'Circle of Excellence,' an honor reserved for top-performing transaction services professionals. Mr. Koziak's clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Bridgestone/Firestone USA, Envision Healthcare, Alcoa, Symbion, Dollar General, Corrections Corporation of America, NASBA, Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, Comcast, Mephisto USA, AMEC, TVA, Trane Company, Podiatry Insurance Company of America (PICA), AAA Auto, VACO, State of Tennessee, Cummins/Fleetguard, First American Bank, National Federation of Independent Business, Empyrean and Eco-Energy. Mr. Koziak's law firm specialty practice group clients include: Gullet Sanford Robinson & Martin, Adams & Reese, Neal & Harwell, Gideon Weiss, among others. He served as chapter public relations chairman for NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Professionals). In addition to his industry involvement, Mr. Koziak has been director for several charitable organizations, including the Open Arms Care Foundation, Mary, Queen of Angels and the Tennessee Medical Foundation Endowment Fund. Mr. Koziak has been awarded the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) upon completing a graduate-level curriculum and attaining a level of qualifying experience.
