Compared to other tech, IT and construction companies, we don't try to retain younger talent. Newer generations require more feedback and direction to move forward with a "belief" or action plan. We also don't have real benefits for parental leave, and the PTO is blurry since sick time was removed.

Compared to other companies in the industry we are underpaid - especially with the perks at other tech companies in the NY metro area. I put in a ton of hours and I think many work less and get equally paid - for those that put in extra hours and move the needle there should be better pay.

No effort is made to make things fun at work. Offices are outdated, perks do not match other tech companies, Im excluded from team building events. 3-5% raises (when offered) are pay cuts when inflation is 8%
