Communication. Employee appreciation, more team like atmosphere

We seem to make a lot of decisions off of emotion... very reactionary. Set 6-12 mo goals / improvements. Take the time to build the path forward, align the team around said goals, and remain focused on acheiving the goal, assessing the progress regularly.
Review from Marketing Dept
Focusing on making Crestron a fun and enjoyable place to work by compensating employees fairly and making investments in headcount so exisiting staff does not get overworked or suffer from burnout. Morale is at an all time low and delaying raises cast doubt on the future of the company

I am underpaid for the amount of responsibilities I am getting added up. Comparing to open jobs in the market, my compensation is way under.
Review from IT Dept
Being underpaid is being under valued as a professional. Being asked to take on additional responsibility without increased compensation or support is not a good feeling. However, I do feel appreciated and that is a priority for me.
Review from Engineering Dept
Given the types of responsibilities I hold, I feel that I should be compensated accordingly. Being compensated for the value I contribute to this team would drive my motivation and loyalty to another level.
Review from Marketing Dept
Compared to other tech, IT and construction companies, we don't try to retain younger talent. Newer generations require more feedback and direction to move forward with a "belief" or action plan. We also don't have real benefits for parental leave, and the PTO is blurry since sick time was removed.
Review from Sales Dept
My compensation should align with the market for my role and experience.
Review from HR Dept
I feel that overall there is a lack of passion and creativity. It feels like there is a lot of "pass the baton" behavior and doing things a certain way just to "check the box". Many solutions are cookie cutter. It feels like our work culture fears new ideas.
Review from Marketing Dept
Takes a lot for cross-functional teams to improve how they work together on an operational basis. Very 'this is how we've always done it', however when things are clunky and no longer work, or impact others negatively, it's very difficult to improve things.
Review from Marketing Dept
Coworkers are doing their best, but are hindered by management. Communication is tedious and inefficient.
3 days home; 2 days at work. More management motivation. More training on-hands training and positivity instead of learn as you go. Feel as everyone on the team is lead performer not just a few.
Review from Engineering Dept
Crestron is a technology company stuck in the past. They will never recruit or retain top talent unless they adapt to be an enticing place to work. Cutting company parties and merit increases while executive staff continue to travel business class around the world is tone deaf.

Nothing to do with the company. It's a personal thing, drive a distance to get to work.
Review from Admin Dept
New focuses on a regular basis. Constantly shifting. Too many critical priorities that involve the same people and too many meetings.
Review from Marketing Dept
Company is out of touch with customers. We rely on dealers, some good some bad. The end user is rarely part of the equation. Our products are solid, but the installation and application varies by dealer. It is Crestron's reputation to the end user that is ignored.
Review from Sales Dept
The company needs to make decisions more quickly.
