Mr. Djalma Novaes, Jr., has been President of Americas Division at Crown Holdings Inc. since January 1, 2015. Mr. Novaes served as the President of Crown Embalagens Met???licas Da Amaz???nia S/A since March 01, 2014. Mr. Novaes spent more than 30 years with Crown. Mr. Novaes returns to Crown Brazil from Fitesa, a nonwoven producer and a subsidiary of Evora S.A., where he served as Chief Operating Officer since March 2012. Mr. Novaes served a number of positions within the Crown organization including Director of Operations for Crown Brazil, as well as Area Manager and vice president of Operations at CROWN Beverage Packaging North America. Mr. Novaes first joined in Crown in 1998. Mr. Novaes has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Sao Paulo.
