Andrea Fiorelli — Partner and Head of Tax at Dentons

Mr. Andrea Fiorelli serves as a Partner of Studio Di Tanno e Association. Mr. Fiorelli has been Partner of Dentons since February 2016 and serves as its Head of Tax. He is a tax lawyer based in Rome office and specialises in the tax aspects of corporate finance and other finance transactions and structures. In 1996, he was admitted to the Rome Bar and in September 1996, he joined Di Tanno e Association, where he served as a Partner since 2006. He has an extensive experience of advising on: the fiscal treatment of financial products and UCITS (harmonized and non-harmonized); international taxation and planning; tax issues arising in the context of corporate finance and M&A transactions; the taxation of individual assets; and tax litigation. He served as Partner of Norton Rose Fulbright LLP since July 2011 until February 2016. He served at a leading Italian boutique firm. He is a qualified Italian avvocato, admitted to the Rome Bar Association in 1993. He has a Law Degree from the Universit?? degli Studio di Urbino 'Carlo B'?? (Italy, academic year 1990/91), with a final mark of 110/110. His dissertation was entitled: 'Mutual assistance legal instruments between custom and fiscal administrations in the European Union'. Mr. Fiorelli also received a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Economics, Politics and Legislation of International Financial Markets and Institutions from the Universit?? degli Studi di Roma 'La Sapienza'. His final dissertation was entitled 'Open-end investment company (SICAV): subjective tax liability and compared fiscal issues'.
