What do you like best about the leadership team?
Constructive, hardworking, knowledgeable, smart and kind
Good communication with all employees.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They should base their feedback on objective facts and not on other things, like whether they like you or not. The evaluation grid is applied diffently to people. How do you explain that some criterias are applied to some people to refrain them from being promoted while it's overlooked for others?
Management offers no support, and are prone to micromanage. Sudden firings and office politics are noticed by new hires since day one.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
There is ability to participate in profits above budget.
The wages were decent in the beginning but the increases later on were just laughable. There is Non equity in the way staff are treated, there can be huge gaps between people holding similar positions

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Bonus and rises are barely correlated to the amount of work and level on involvment in your work
Employees have to pay for their own benefits, this is not common amongst other big law firms that neighbour Dentons.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Some people are nice and qualfiied but unfortunately it's not the majority
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
People (all levels) were inconsiderate, sometimes even basic politeness was foregone
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
For the most part, people are very smart and get things done.
The speech about integration, work life balance etc is just one big lie.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Practice what you preach. For real.
Better management structure, not treating employees like a number or a cog in a machine, career growth plans, better benefits
People can be quite cynical.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Opportunity to share ideas and philosophy
It's a quick process, not too many interviews
The interview was fast and easy. I shortly found out this was the case because no one wanted the job.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
too long . takes forever to make decisions
Opinions of other people than the partner are dismissed. Doubts about candidates are brushed off if the partner has decided to hire someone
What makes you most happy at work?
Quality work completed efficiently and profitably.
Clients are mostly appreciative of the work

You’re given no space at all to thrive within your work environment. You’re hardly ever given chances to do things differently or just to look
