Mr. Nicholas Plant has been the Head of Private Equity Practice Across The UK, Middle East & Africa Region at Dentons since May 2013. Mr. Plant has been a Partner in SJ Berwin's corporate finance group since 2007. He also represents clients on general Mamp;A and joint ventures. While at SJ Berwin, where he qualified in 1998, he acted for clients including Duke Street, Transdigm and the management team of ERM on its sale from Bridgepoint to Charterhouse Capital in 2011. He has also represented CVC Capital Partners on a number of deals, including its aborted ??3bn bid for the market leading ETF platform, iShares, from Barclays Global Investors in 2009, and the private equity house's $1.7bn (??1.1bn) acquisition of Samsonite Corporation.
