Mr. Donald M. Abbey , also known as Don, has been Executive Vice President of Quality & Information Technology at DexCom, Inc. since October 28, 2016. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, he served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for the Critical Care division of Respironics, Inc. Previously, he held a number of leadership roles within the healthcare industry, including general manager of Welch Allyn's cardiopulmonary business; Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for Protocol Systems, Inc.; and Director of Quality Assurance for Heartstream, Inc. He has more than 26 years of medical device and pharmaceutical industry experience. Mr. Abbey holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
