Executive Bio

Mr. Steven R. Pacelli, also known as Steve, has been an Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at DexCom, Inc. since August 2012 and served as its Chief Operating Officer since June 2010. In this role, Mr. Pacelli was responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Dexcom's sales, marketing and other core commercial functions, including finance, customer support, quality assurance, corporate development, managed care, human resources, legal and intellectual property and investor relations. He served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs of DexCom, Inc. since July 30, 2007 and as its Chief Administrative Officer from December, 2008 to June 2010. He oversaw DexCom's key administrative functions, including finance, corporate development, managed care, legal, human resources, intellectual property and investor relations. Mr. Pacelli served as Vice President of Legal Affairs of DexCom, Inc. from April 2006 to July 30, 2007. From March 2003 to April 2006, he served as a Corporate Attorney at Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, P.C. where he specialized in public and private finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters for life sciences and technology companies. From February 2001 to March 2003, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development, Secretary and General Counsel of Axcelerant, Inc. From January 2000 to January 2001, he served as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Flashcom, Inc. He has been a Director of BIOCOM, Inc. since June 2016. He is a member of the State Bar of California. Mr. Pacelli received a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. from the University of Virginia.
