How's the work life balance at DOE?
Varies depending on program office. Generally much better in a public service position than private sector

There is usually flexibility to telework a couple days a week when you are a federal employee, depending on your program office. For full time remote positions, you could consider checking for positions at the DOE National Laboratories.

DOE does not have a CEO, rather a White House appointed Secretary. Currently, Rick Perry is the Secretary of DOE.
