Parlay Bets- A 'Parlay' bet is a bet placed on multiple outcomes to occur. For a Parlay bet to win, all outcomes within the Parlay must be selected correctly. The odds for each pick are multiplied by one another to determine the odds for the Parlay. For example, New England at -190 odds, parlayed with New York at +145 odds, would result in +275 odds.

Point Spread or Spread- Bets where each outcome has a + or a - handicap applied to it. This handicap is often called the 'line'. On a 'line' of 3.5, one team will have 3.5 points added to their score, one team will have 3.5 points subtracted from their score. The winner of the Point Spread is the team who 'covers' the Spread based on the line and the final score.

A teaser is a parlay placed on multiple Point Spreads or Totals where the line is bought or 'teased' down in exchange for a lower payout. Currently, teasers only exist as Football only, Basketball only and Football/Basketball combinations. They are traditionally pre-match only bets.

This feature gives you the opportunity to cash out before the outcome is decided, allowing you to secure part of your winnings or cut your losses.

On selected sports, Cash Out is available for selected pre-game, live, future and parlay bets and can be for more or less than your original wagered amount, depending on how events unfold following your bet placement. You can see if your bet is eligible for cash out when you add it to the bet slip.

After placing a bet, you can select the Cash Out option by visiting My Bets and selecting Cash Out on applicable bets. Bets will settle at the shown price, and the money deposited in your account immediately.

A Money Line bet is simply who you think will win the game. Moneyline wagers have odds attached to both the favorite and the underdog.

Example: The Seattle Seahawks are favored (-200) against the Washington Redskins (+200). If you bet $20.00 on the Seahawks, you would be wagering $20.00 to win $30.00. If you wagered $20.00 on the Redskins as the underdog, you would win $40.00 if they won the game.

A bet slip is an electronic form that records how much money you place on a bet, your potential payout, as well as the odds for those bets. The bet slip is essentially a receipt for the bets that you place on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Once bets have been placed and their acceptance has been confirmed they may not be canceled. Always ensure that your bets are correct before submitting. You may have the opportunity to cash out your bet before the market goes live.

Player Props can be found by visiting any individual league page and navigating to the 'Player Props' tab, or by selecting an individual event and scrolling through all odds for that game. A prop bet is a bet on a specific event or player that does not directly correlate to the outcome of a game. Examples of prop bets would be Will LeBron James score more or less than 32 points? or Will Julio Jones score a touchdown in this game?

'Off the Board' means that a bookmaker is not currently accepting bets on a particular game.

In most cases, OTB simply means that the line for that particular game isn't available as of yet. If you see an OTB mark for a specific game, we recommend checking back into DraftKings Sportsbook at a later time to find the updated odds for that bet.

Void betcan occur in a number of situations and when yourbetisvoid that means that your stake will be returned, that is you won't win any money but you won't lose it either

Your available balance is calculated by taking the amount of funds you have deposited into your Sportsbook account, funds you have won on Sportsbook and funds you have won on Daily Fantasy Sports contests. Please note that your DraftKings Sportsbook balance is different than your DraftKings Daily Fantasy Sports balance.

A Profit Boost token allows you to apply a boost to the potential profit being received on a specified outcome. For example, if you bet $10 Toronto Maple Leafs at +110 on the Money Line, you can apply a 25% Profit Boost token to that wager to move from a $21.00 return to a $23.85 return.

You can only make a bet in a state where DraftKings is licensed for regulated sports betting. Your account will be restricted from making a bet if you are physically located in a state that does not permit sports gambling.

Users who are located in states the do not offer sports book are ineligible for prizes offered by the DraftKings website. Residents of states that do not offer Sportsbook are still eligible to open and maintain accounts with restrictions.

On a PC, restart the Player Location Check through the Task Manager (control+alt+delete, and then find the Player Location Check within the list of running processes).

You are only permitted to use contest winnings won on DFS to place a bet on Sportsbook.

For example, if you deposit $20.00 into your DFS account, you must play through that $20.00 into daily fantasy contests before you can use those funds to make a bet on your Sportsbook account.

You may want to place a bet on a sporting event as it's happening. This is called Live Betting, and allows you to bet in real time while the action is unfolding.

Placing Live Bets - When placing a live bet, you will see the odds changing dynamically based on events currently happening in the game.

Due to these odds changes, you may notice a slight delay as your bet is processing. Once a live bet is placed, you will see it settle as soon as the outcome is known.

If you're new to betting, it's important to understand how odds work. Betting odds can be complicated, but we've broken down the basics to get you started.Odds tell you how likely an event or outcome is to happen.

They also tell you how much money you can win. In Sportsbook, you can tap on any odd, represented by the green numbers (ex. +130), to bring up your bet slip. This will calculate your potential pay out for you.

There are 3 betting odds types: American, Decimal and Fractional. American odds are traditional in the USA, so we've defaulted to those. You can change your odds type at any time by using the odds selector.
