Collaboration. Department managers work in silos and have too much organizational power. Executive team should be more involved in execution of organizational strategy.
People are promoted and valued based on who they have a personal relationship with rather than their qualifications and performance. For the company to truly thrive, this good ole boy system must be extinguished. With up-and-coming leaders, I believe it will eventually happen.
