Q&A With Drund Employees

Drund employees answer questions about what life is like behind the scenes at their company, including queries about culture, leadership, professional development, and compensation.

How employees describe working at Drund

They revealed so much without actually saying anything. Demanded camera turned on, zero trust. But did not turn on their camera Owners children work at the co. Very small dysfunctional place

My overall experience has been really good. I've been at Drund for a few years now and the work culture is one of trust and respect. We've also decreased to a 32hr/4 day workweek which has really given me a great work life balance

Super good so far. I like being able to work from home and how everyone is helpful and professional. My learning rate has never been higher, so that's also good.

Great work culture, benefits, and company events. It's a great place to learn and grow.

Review from Engineering Dept

You aren't rushed or micromanaged. There is a lot of trust.

  • The career ladder is the source of truth that all of the team leads collaborated on and built out. You can request a review with your team lead to see if you have the skills necessary on the career ladder if you want to jump to the next pay level. You can level up as fast or as slow as you want this way. It's really nice that it works this way there is no guess work or negotiation and keeps it fair for everyone.

  • For a full time position your work 34 hours a week for 4 days (8.5hr/day). However, if the 4-day workweek isn't your favorite you can opt for a 4-day workweek. Everything is flex scheduling so you choose when you work. This really helped with people using PTO for appointments and you can work when you are most efficient.

  • There aren't any differences they both get about a month off and they can choose when they take it. For example they can take 2 weeks one month when the baby is coming and 2 weeks the next month when stuff gets harder to manage. It's honestly one of the best paternity/maternity leave policies I've see and it's all paid time off. Especially for men.
