What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership team is helpful and is really great at guiding fairly new team members but even helping more senior team members who are looking to learn new things.
Team leadership is great, very open to questions and helping you figure things out.

Having the opportunity to reach out at any point to get an questions answered about the tasks.
The product owner/CEO works more closely with our partners to get needs and requirements and conveys those to the team leads and team. The team leads aren't micromanaged but are trusted and empowered to make independent decisions to make our products and teams better.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Step back and pay someone else to operate the business. Take a vacation, disconnect, and make a determination to pack it in.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Flex scheduling and Fridays off, along with the maternity and paternity leave --- that's pretty cool.
The health benefits are really good, and they give us a lot of PTO
The pay and benefits package is above industry standards here and the culture and work environment here is unlike any other company I've worked at. This group of people are fun, hard working, and extremely driven. They go out of their way to get to know one another and support each other.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay is way below industry standards because the business grew in a local, separated job market with little competition. Good place to learn but hopefully they can start to compensate better in the future
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is great. Super helpful, super fun to be around, and open to any questions that may arise.

Everyone on my team is friendly, talented, and respectful! I look forward to working with them every day
The team and overall processes are pretty organized and follows protocols which are super accessible. Meetings are effective and don't drone on needlessly. If you need to figure out an issue and need help all of the team members are pretty great about jumping on a call and helping out.

They are helpful and nice. Everything is a collaborative approach and I even got to help in some problem solving activities and share my ideas on issues.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The company grew through a startup culture that was competitive and immature at times. Fostering a more cooperative culture can help this

Everyone is nice, and super open to questions. Easy to talk to everyone from different teams.

You aren't rushed or micromanaged. There is a lot of trust.
We have a lot of fun events even though we are remote, and they are very supportive in growth and learning.
Everyone helps everyone out and is supportive and collaborative. Its a very positive work experience and environment. I feel like I can produce results, help with problems without being judged, and work without feeling like I'm micromanaged.

What did you like most about the interview process?
They revealed so much without actually saying anything. Demanded camera turned on, zero trust. But did not turn on their camera Owners children work at the co. Very small dysfunctional place
Super direct and open. Trust and transparency is everything!
How open it was. A lot of companies fail at having a meaningful interview of getting to know someone as a person as well as their skill set. They managed to do both and that was a great experience. They hire for skill set & you as a person.

I got along pretty well with the people interviewing me and I was able to show off my projects that I worked on and they really liked that. I would say that really like to see projects and really want to dig in to see where your skills are at.
