Other companies pay better but the region oulls doen.
Company is making it harder to get promoted and we are taking on more work and projects.
To be paid as much as employees in the same company doing the same job in other parts of the country. To have a level of benefits like they used to provide and provide them into retirement.
Compensation is fine. Perks can get better.
Learning and becoming process experts is not rewarded. Being paid the same as someone that knows alot less and that being acknowledged is not a great feeling. Expectations different for the same job and pay scale is frustrating, makes not incentive to continue pushing oneself.
If you are truly EEO and care about your employees, take the time to listen to their needs. Promote management that is trained and competent in Management. Do not push "yes" men into management and sacrifice employee mental health and safety over the good ol' boy mentality.
