He served as the Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of Edison Mission Energy (EME), a subsidiary of Edison Mission Group Inc. from 2008 to 2010. He served as Vice President of Strategic Planning of EIX from May 2004 to April 2005. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of Edison Mission Energy from January 2002 to April 2004 and served as its Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations from June 1999 to December 2001. He served as Vice President at Mission Energy Westside Inc., a General Partner of EME Homer City Generation LP since January 2000. He served as Manager and Vice President of Midwest Generation LLC since August 2000. From June 1999 to January 2002, Mr. Litzinger served as Senior Vice President of Edison Mission Energy's Worldwide Operations.
