Mr. W. Darin Moody has been Senior Vice President of Global Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, Dry Products Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Division at Eli Lilly & Co. since August 25, 2016. Mr. Moody served as Vice President of Corporate Engineering, Global Health, Safety and Environment at Eli Lilly & Co. since January 2015 until August 25, 2016 and served as its Vice President of Corporate Engineering and Continuous Improvement from August 2007 to December 2014. Mr. Moody was responsible for global engineering and maintenance activity as well as the Six Sigma initiative within manufacturing and quality. He is a Member of senior management council at Eli Lilly & Co. He joined Lilly in 1987. His initial assignment was in global facilities delivery, where he worked on the design and construction of active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing facilities. From 1990 to 1999, he moved through a series of production and engineering assignments first at department head level at Clinton Laboratories and then at manager level within Indianapolis bulk insulin manufacturing. He then moved to the United Kingdom, becoming General Manager of the Speke operations manufacturing site located in Liverpool. He returned to Indianapolis in 2001, having assignments as Plant Manager and General Manager within bulk insulin manufacturing before becoming Executive Director of global process and maintenance engineering in 2004. He had an assignment as Six Sigma champion for manufacturing and quality. Mr. Moody serves on the Board of trustees of The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is a Member of the International Leadership Forum of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers. He served as a Board member of the Charles T. Hyte Community Center in Terre Haute, Indiana; The Partnership for Learning in Liverpool, United Kingdom; and the Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Moody graduated from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a B.S. degree in Chemical engineering.
