Mr. David Loechner serves as Chief Executive Officer at Emerald Expositions, Inc. Mr. Loechner serves as the President at Emerald Expositions Holding, Inc. Mr. Loechner oversees leading publications, trade shows conferences, and digital offerings in industries including sports, merchandise, jewelry, and retail food, among others. Some of his brands include: National Jeweler, Couture International Jeweler, Progressive Grocer, Convenience Store News, and Gourmet Retailer magazines; and trade shows such as Outdoor Retailer, (ASR) Action Sports Retailer, Interbike, the JA jewelry shows, Couture Jewellery Collection & Conference and the ASD/AMD Merchandise Shows. He served as Group President of VNU Expositions' Sports Group before it was reorganized into larger market-focused groups in late 2006. Before VNU, he held sales and trade show management positions with Miller Freeman, which was later acquired by VNU, where he managed multiple trade shows and magazines. He has spent his entire career in the trade show and B2B publishing business, and began his career as a regional sales representative, selling trade show booth and advertising space for a small start-up company. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Principia College in Illinois.
