Mr. James J. Lindemann, also known as Jim, has been an Executive Vice President of Emerson Electric Co. since 2000. Mr. Lindemann has been the Chief Operating Officer of Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions at Emerson Electric Co. since February 2016. He serves as an Executive Vice President of Emerson Motor Technologies & Appliance Solutions and runs its motors and appliance components operations. He served as a Senior Vice President of Emerson Electric Co. since 1999 and served as its Business Leader of the motors and appliance components business segment. Mr. Lindemann served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Emerson Motor Co. since 1996. He first joined Emerson Motor division in 1977 as a Technician and later served as its Application Engineer. He rejoined Emerson in 1983 and held various marketing positions for the Specialty Motor division. Since 1992, he served as the President of Commercial Cam of Emerson Motor Co. and served as its President of the Emerson Appliance Motor division since 1995. Mr. Lindemann served in the U.S. Navy from 1974 to 1977. He has been an Independent Director of Cass Information Systems Inc. since 2007. He served as an Advisory Director at Emerson Electric Co. since 2000. He served a Member of Advisory Board of Emerson since 2000. He has been a Board Member of the Chief Executive Officer Forum of Emerson since 2003. Mr. Lindemann received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and an MBA degree from Duke University.
