Mr. Patrick J. Sly, also known as Pat, serves as an Executive Vice President at Emerson Electric Co. served as its Business Leader of Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions until January 2014. He served as an Executive Vice President of Emerson Storage Solutions & Professional Tools of Emerson Electric Co. since 2000. He began his career at Emerson Special Products division in 1980 as National Sales Manager for Power Tools. He subsequently held several positions of increasing responsibility within Emerson Tool division (now Emerson Tool), including Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing, and President. He served as President of Ridge Tool since 1993 and as Vice President of Emerson group since 1998. Since 1999, Mr. Sly served as Senior Vice President of Emerson. He serves as an Advisory Director at Emerson Electric Co. He serves on the Saint Louis University Board of Trustees, and the Boards of Directors for Benedictine College, Boys Hope Girls Hope, and the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation. Mr. Sly received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Benedictine College (Kansas) and an MBA from Saint Louis University.
