There are suggestion drop boxes and you can email people directly. The CEO is very responsive.

I feel proud to work for a hospital that is run efficiently and respects their patients.
What are the team outings like at Encompass?
Some of the team members go to a trivia night. I am not aware of others. During the holidays, the therapy team has a get-together. The hospital often puts on events in-house.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Encompass?
Be prepared to work 2-3 weekend days a month.
What's the office layout like at Encompass?
Offices are often in windowless rooms, where patient rooms and patient therapy rooms have a lot of light.
How much diversity is there among employees at Encompass?
Very little at the location I worked at. The town reflects the demographic.
How's the morale at Encompass?
It fluctuates depending on the caseload. It is difficult not to feel tired when you are over-worked, and nervous when the caseload is too low that you will need to use PTO time.
How long do the interviews usually take at Encompass?
I was shadowing or interviewing for a few hours. This was very helpful in giving me a sense of the duties and my potential co-workers.
How do I do well in an interview at Encompass?
Be professional and be yourself. It's important that you work well with the team and they want to figure that out during the interview.
Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from Encompass?
I met with the speech therapists, who I would be working with, and the head of therapy. I heard back within a week.
How would you compare interviewing at Encompass to other places you've interviewed?
It felt as though it was an invitation to learn about the facility and a chance for them to learn more about me as a person. They did not ask questions to assess my clinical skills, as other places have.
In your opinion, what are the most common interview questions that Encompass asks?
I have only interviewed for one position. They asked typical questions, such as, what are two of your strengths and two of your weaknesses.
How flexible is your work schedule at Encompass?
Fairly flexible. I could come in later and leave later. This was very helpful with my work/life balance so I could see my husband in the evenings after his long commute.
