Executive Bio
Mr. Michael J. Schmidtlein has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at EnerSys since February 10, 2010 and January 1, 2016 respectively. Mr. Schmidtlein joined the EnerSys in 1995. Mr. Schmidtlein served as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Enersys from November 1, 2005 to February 10, 2010 and also served as its Senior Vice President of Finance from February 10, 2010 to January 1, 2016 and Interim Chief Financial Officer from November 23, 2009 to February 10, 2010. He served as the Plant Manager of EnerSys' Warrensburg, Missouri facility since April 2003. He served as the Director of Finance for the former Invensys ESG North American businesses since June 1999. Mr. Schmidtlein has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Missouri in Columbia and is a Certified Public Accountant from AICPA.
