Mr. David S. Santee serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Equity Residential and its Executive Vice President since April 16, 2013. Mr. Santee served as an Executive Vice President of Operations at Equity Residential since January 2007 until April 2013 and was responsible for revenue, marketing, information technology, facilities and procurement groups. He joined Equity Residential in 1994 and has served in a variety of roles in the company's property management organization including having responsibility for the operations of more than 70,000 apartment units. He served as Regional Vice President of Summit Properties. From 1893 to 1992, Mr. Santee served for R&B Realty Group in various capacities. He started his career in the apartment industry in 1983. He served as a Executive Vice President of Eastern Division at Equity Residential from November 1996 to December 2006. Mr. Santee serves as the Director of ExecuStay Corporation. He has served on the Boards of various local and regional organizations of apartment Owners and Manager over the course of his career. Mr. Santee holds B.S. in Finance and Economics from West Virginia University.
