Mr. Calvin G. Butler, Jr., has been the Chief Executive Officer of Baltimore Gas and Electric Company at Exelon Corporation since March 1, 2014. Mr. Butler served as Senior Vice President of External Affairs, Large Customer Services and State Legislative & Governmental Affairs at Commonwealth Edison Company since May 11, 2009. He served as a Senior Vice President of Regulatory and External Affairs at Baltimore Gas and Electric Company from February 12, 2013 to February 28, 2014. Mr. Butler oversaw the utility's communications and corporate relations, as well governmental and legislative affairs. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Exelon Corporation from 2011 to 2013 and Senior Vice President of Human Resources from September 2010 to 2011. Mr. Butler served as senior vice president of corporate affairs for ComEd, where he managed state legislative initiatives, maintained strategic relationships with key state stakeholders and large customers and oversaw real estate and facilities and economic development. Mr. Butler served as Vice President of State Legislative & Government Affairs of Commonwealth Edison Company from February 2008 to May 11, 2009. He served as Senior Vice President of External Affairs at R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co., since December 19, 2005. He had been responsible for Legislative Affairs, Community Relations, RR Donnelley's Alliance Markets program and Supplier Diversity initiatives and new consultative sales programs that address its Government vertical segment. Mr. Butler began his career at RR Donnelley in 1999 as Senior Director of Government Relations. He has held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility during his tenure, as Vice President, Manufacturing. He served for five years in a variety of positions at CILCORP (Central Illinois Light Co.) in Peoria, Ill., where he worked in the government affairs, legal and operations areas. He has been a Director of Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond since January 1, 2017. He serves as Director of Baltimore Gas and Electric Company. He has been a Director at RLI Corp. since October 01, 2016. He serves as Director of the Illinois State Chamber, the Chicago Children's Theater, the Chicago Public Library Foundation, the Heritage YMCA and the Bradley University Council of Trustees and of Leadership Greater Chicago. He received a number of awards and recognitions for his contributions, including a Career Focus Eagle award in 2006 from the National Eagle Leadership Institute, a Chicago Tribune and YMCA African-American and Hispanic Leadership Award in 2003, a Mahogany Foundation Award for Black Achievers in 2002 and was recognized as one of the top 30 African-American leaders in Ebony Magazine in 1998. Mr. Butler graduated with a J.D. from the Washington University School of Law and received his B.S. from Bradley University.
