Executive Bio

Mr. Rick C. Gallagher has been the Chief Investment Officer and Group Corporate Strategy & Development Director at Experian plc since May 2010. Mr. Gallagher is responsible for driving Experian's corporate development and strategy globally. He served as Managing Director of Emerging Markets Group at Experian plc (formerly, Experian Group Limited). Mr. Gallagher served as an Executive Vice President of Latin America and Canada of Experian Information Solutions, Inc. of Experian plc. He served as Managing Director of Experian's Europe, Middle East and Africa region and before that, served as Managing Director of Latin America. Mr. Gallagher served as an Executive Vice President of Latin America and Canada for Experian PLC since August 22, 2006 and also served as its President of Experian Latin America. He served as an Executive Vice President of Strategic Business Development and President of the Fraud Solutions business at Experian North America, where he was responsible for executing its business strategy through mergers and acquisitions, as well as large industry alliances. Before joining Experian in 2002, Mr. Gallagher held several executive-level positions within private equity group-owned information services companies. He served as Vice President of Sales at Interworld Corporation and served at Aurora Electronics, Inc., where he helped restructure it through the acquisition of the Cerplex Group, Inc. His career has also featured leadership roles with Strategic Mortgage Services, a business later sold to First American Corporation and MCI Communications Corporation. He served as a Director of Experian Finance Plc until February 2, 2015. Mr. Gallagher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University and a Master of Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
