Mr. Simon Russell has been a Market President for South Africa at Experian plc since January 16, 2017. Mr. Russell served as Managing Executive of Financial Services Practice in South Africa and Nigeria at Accenture from December 1989 to August 2016. He was a Trainee Engineer of VolksWagen South Africa from 1988 to 1989. He served as a Director of Accenture SA. Over a period of 27 years, he has led a number of significant transformation programmes for companies across the retail, resources and financial services sectors, says Experian. Mr. Russell holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering Degree from University of Cape Town in 1988 as well as BCom in Economics Degree from University of South Africa in 1992.
