I spoke to the store manager and assistant manager together.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
If upper management listened more and gave us more realistic expectations.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to the employees. They know what customers want/need more than anyone.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Less drama. Sometimes when you get a group of ladies together it gets a bit gossipy.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a manager I feel like I do a lot of work with little pay. I also feel like the maternity is extremely unrealistic.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My store in particular has a good, harmonious atmosphere but not every store is like that so when we use employees from other stores sometimes our environment is disrupted.
