What does the leadership team need to get better at?

They need to improve on their tone when talking to employees about any issues. They step in too much to take over clients with new stylists. They make every experience for stylists feel like a personal attack when the stylist isn't fast enough for their 10+ years stamdards.

Everything. Some salons who ask for better direction and get absolutely nothing. Also don't compare salons to other salons in different city's. Every city is different will never be the same.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

There are both benefits for working parttime in this company. Also, in Indiana, they don't do student Ioans like they do in Louisville, so the benefits for new stylists are not the same.

I personally feel undervalued due to I've been the primary stylist since we reopened due to the pandemic. I've dealt with rude customers. Having a salon owner who is not licensed to do hair hang around all day, then try to consult while the stylist is consulting is very unprofessional. More money

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

They have this idea that we are supposed to get them in and out super fast when that's not how every service works because we ate all at different levels of experience. We don't make appointments and people get mad about that. Sometimes, a hair service will be so rushed that the clients leave a mess
