View ArticleHave you experienced issuesreceiving or sending text messages in response to an Farmers Business Network poll or price alert?
Here are some tips to troubleshoot these issues.
I'm not receiving messages and I'm not sure why.
Please confirm that your cell phone number is listed in your FBN account. Log into FBN at www.FBN.com, navigate to "Account", then "My Profile", click "Edit Phone Number".
I'd like someone else on my farm to receive polls from Farmers Business Network.
Great! You can create a sub account for your team member by following this guide. Be sure to include their cell phone number. After they are set up, they will receive the next poll that is focused on your region.
When I receive an sms poll, I reply but I do not receive the resulting insights (ie. images or graphs).
We often send results back using a different type of message, called MMS. You may need to enable MMS messages on your phone.
To enable MMS messages on aniPhone,
From the Home screen, tapSettings.
Scroll down to and tapMessages.
Scroll down, then to enable, drag theMMS Messagingswitch toON.
To disable, drag theMMS Messagingswitch toOFF.
There are many Android devices on the market so you may need to search google for "how to enable mms messages on an Android [Device model #]"
If MMS messages are enabled but you still do not receive these messages, you may wish to speak with yourcarrier.
I'd like to be removed from future sms/mms messages.
Not a problem, simply reply "stop" to any of our messages and we will remove you from all future messages.
If you'd like to be added back to the list at a future time, text"FBN" to phone number 313131.
I have another question that isn't listed here.
Not a problem. Give us a call at (844)200-FARM or email [email protected]

Farmers have been sharing information and learning from one another since the dawn of agriculture, it's one of the very roots of human civilization. The FBN networkuses data from precision equipment and other sources, thenconnects you with thousands of elite growers from around the US and Canada. FBN turns the world into your plot trial by anonymously aggregating and analyzing millions of acres of farm data through the FBN analytics tools.
Information about your farm is never visible to otherFBNmembers, no one can see what you do on your fields, and your data is never sold. By participating inFBN,you'll receive comprehensive agronomic analytics, reports, and mapping on your own farm, and can alsoaccess this pool of aggregated, anonymized cleaned data on thingssuch as seed performance, performance benchmarking, crop & market trends and input prices.
By tapping into thousands of fields and millions of acres of data, farmers can realize the power of a scale of information that has never before been available to farmers - all created by and for other farmers. That's what we call, Democratizing Data. Farmers, not the industry, deservethe benefit of aggregated information. Meaning you can farm with higher confidence, and gain insights into the best products and practices that could increase your yields and profits.
FBNanalytics can work on dozens of crops and integrate over 60 types of precision software. Many farmers joinFBNwith their friends to create local agronomic data clusters. Agronomists and trusted advisors can also useFBNanalytics to manage their client's farm data and produce customized analytics.

The imagery has a 10-meter resolution
What Kind of Images are Included?
We display three types of images. Absolute, Relative, and Raw.
The"Absolute"layer can be used to show how far along a crop is in its growth, to identify the variation of vegetative vigor within a field, and to compare a field’s vegetative growth against other fields on the operation.
The"Relative"layertakes the range of EVI values from the Absolute layer and effectively amplifies the variation across a green to red color scale. This layer is used to identify the variation of vegetative growth within a single field.
The"Raw"layershows a raw image of the field on the date the image was taken. This layer can be used to identify clouds or shadows of clouds that might be showing up in the EVI layers.
How do I find EVI Satellite Images in the product?
EVI imagery is located in theFBNMapssection ofMy Operations. You can see satellite maps by using the “map-types” drop-down menu located on the left of the screen, just above the map image and selecting"Satellite".

FBN Profit Center helps you find the best bids for your grain. Learn about the top 3 ways FBN Profit Center helps FBN members market their grain.
1. Evaluate bids based on highest profit, instead of highest cash bid.
The highest cash bid isn't always the bid that will be most profitable for your farm. Different buyers and different bids come with different transportation and storage costs.
FBN Profit Center makes it easy to find the bids that will deliver the highest profit for your farm with Effective Price.
2. Receive personalized alerts right to your phone! Set an alert price and get notified when a bid hits the price you set.
Use FBN Profit Center Alerts to know when there is a bid in your area that meets your Alert Price. You set the price, we send you text alerts when bids hit your price target.
3. Let FBN Profit Center track your path to profit
When you enter your crop commitments and sales into Profit Center, our software automatically calculates and displays vital information about your profitability.

In order to add a MyJohnDeere account to FBN, follow the steps below or watch our video tutorial:
Sign into your FBN account ( https://www.farmersbusinessnetwork.com ). Sign Up Here!
Click the My Data Section, on the right in the header.
Click on the Integrations tab to the right of the My Files tab.
Click on the John Deere button.
Click on the Connect with John Deere button if you agree to add this integration.
If you are not currently signed into MyJohnDeere, you will be required to sign in.

Select"Allow".
If the request was successful and FBN was able to finish the integration, you will see your MyJohnDeere account listed as an integration. If the request failed or there was an error, you will see the integrations page with an error message. Retry the process again if this happens or contact us for help.
After the data in your account has finished syncing with FBN, you will see the Last Sync date
You are now integrated with your MyJohnDeere account and all files uploaded to MyJohnDeere will automatically upload to your FBN account for processing, cleaning, and analyzing!
Will I have duplicate data in the system with previously provided files?
If we find matching files from MyJohnDeere and your FBN account, we do not re-process the data. If we do not have a matching file, we download the file into your account and begin processing. While we have taken steps to minimize this, it is possible and you should contact us so we can take care of it.
How do I remove an integration?
Removing an integration from FBN is as simple as going to the Integrations page and clicking on the “Remove” link to the right of the integration you wish to remove. The integration will no longer be listed.
How do I know if integrations are working?
To verify that your integrations are working properly and that FBN has the latest data, simply go to the Integrations page and look at the Last Sync timestamp next to each integration.

View ArticleReturns: Farmers have the ability to control costs for their seed supplier by ordering only the seed that is needed. With open return policies, many farmers order a little extra and a typical seed company has between 8-25\% returns. However, that small amount of extra seed ends up costing seed companies a lot of money. It is costly to return, repackage, retest for quality and create new lots of the seed. For us to offer significant savings to the farmer, we need the farmer’s help. If you are concerned about returns we do offer a return program on our conventional corn seed.
Replants: Until the advent of traits, most seed companies did not offer replant seed or did so at only a 50\% level. With the launch of traits, seed companies started offering full replant programs to try to gain a competitive advantage. To determine if an operation should purchase our replant program, the farmer should calculate the \% of seed that they have had to replant over the past several years. In addition to our replant program, it is also possible to buy replant insurance from the RMA/Federal Crop Insurance. Some farmers will also buy private policies for additional coverage.
