Federal Government Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

It is great. They pay the highest in the US

TSP matching is one of the best things about my benefits.

Premium Time when we have left over contract hours we need to burn. It's not time and half, but my salary is such that its still a nice little bonus you can give yourself if you want to work for it.

Retirement benefits & generous annual vacation

It is reliable and fair

I have great benefits and package

it is bare minimum -- classic bureaucracy

Well-paid with great benefits. Excellent pension plan.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Higher salary and higher 401k match

Raise increase is a concern

More pay, less expensive on to employees and families on health/dental and vision insurance.

In a one month period I work 20 hours over my overtime cap - which was approved by management, but an OPM law took my hours away. If I hadn't worked those 20 hours the project would have been late and I would have been blamed and my performance rating would have dropped. Nice place to work 'eh?
