What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Giving employees solid blueprints to advance in their career fields.

Real action, not political lip service

Understand that people are different and just because I'm older doesn't mean I can't do the job. My immediate superior has made snide remarks about me and my abilities but if I say anything, there will be retribution.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

It is great. They pay the highest in the US

TSP matching is one of the best things about my benefits.

Premium Time when we have left over contract hours we need to burn. It's not time and half, but my salary is such that its still a nice little bonus you can give yourself if you want to work for it.

Retirement benefits & generous annual vacation

It is reliable and fair

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

Higher salary and higher 401k match

Raise increase is a concern

More pay, less expensive on to employees and families on health/dental and vision insurance.

In a one month period I work 20 hours over my overtime cap - which was approved by management, but an OPM law took my hours away. If I hadn't worked those 20 hours the project would have been late and I would have been blamed and my performance rating would have dropped. Nice place to work 'eh?

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Need to be more supportive and consider an acuity of the patients vs the number of patients in our care. Realize care is for the patient's not about stasis.

boss is technically blind -- promotes those who sound good in meetings, but secretly are almost completely inept.

The mission of the group I work in has become stagnant and the higher grades don't see it. They are too busy practicing their favoritism with their pets who in their eyes, can do no wrong. Soon enough we will become obsolete without new blood at the top.
