Understand that people are different and just because I'm older doesn't mean I can't do the job. My immediate superior has made snide remarks about me and my abilities but if I say anything, there will be retribution.

In a one month period I work 20 hours over my overtime cap - which was approved by management, but an OPM law took my hours away. If I hadn't worked those 20 hours the project would have been late and I would have been blamed and my performance rating would have dropped. Nice place to work 'eh?
They are astute, they all hold advanced degrees ams they dont need supervison.
We all share our knowledge and have fun learning new things, and coming up with solutions to hard problems together.

boss is technically blind -- promotes those who sound good in meetings, but secretly are almost completely inept.
The mission of the group I work in has become stagnant and the higher grades don't see it. They are too busy practicing their favoritism with their pets who in their eyes, can do no wrong. Soon enough we will become obsolete without new blood at the top.
