Figma Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

We have lots of company holidays and PTO

The best part of my compensation package to me are the equity offer, the work from home/office flexibility and the resources funds for self training (sunlight)

Commissions and salary mainly ,

Review from Sales Dept

The whole package is just a cut above the rest. They really care about their employees welfare and clearly value us a lot

Review from Sales Dept

It allows me to support myself and live comfortably in an expensive city.

Offering of RSU's and softer benefits

Review from Sales Dept

Cash comp feels very fair compared to other offers I received. Great perks like family planning and mental health support.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Hypergrowth means everyone's equity is so radically different. I am annoyed because I've been performing at a consistently high place and have gotten no promotion.

Review from Sales Dept

Figma underpays. It's disheartening. I think Figma can take its employees for granted, in part due to the incredible growth. The golden handcuffs of equity and options will not last forever. Anecdotally, this feeling is shared across functions.

My salary and OTE is under the industry average for my role. Equity is amazing but does not cover finances in the short term. I took a significant paycut to join Figma and would hope to gain some kind of parity vs industry average and my previous package at some point.

Review from Sales Dept

Knowing that support makes the least in company is difficult for morale, even if we're paid "well" for support in the general market. Also not a fan of the localisation plan. Would really like transparent salaries.

As a non-technical member of the team, I do not feel that my equity compensation reflects the value that I bring to the company. It's difficult to feel much ownership over the company's success when you don't get to share in it.
