Mr. Eric N. Friedman co-founded Wind-Up Labs, Inc., in 2002. Mr. Friedman is Co-Founder of Fitbit Inc. and serves as its Chief Technology Officer. He is an experienced technologist who loves to create and scale innovative consumer applications. At CNET / Webshots, he led the engineering team for one of the largest photosharing sites in the world. Before Webshots, he was a co-founder of Windup Labs, which created HeyPix, one of the first P2P photosharing applications. Mr. Friedman served as an Engineer Manager at CNET Networks. He served as a Founding Engineer at Epesi Technologies, where he helped develop content and application syndication middleware. He served as a Software Engineer in Microsoft's Real-Time Collaboration Group. While at Microsoft, he developed user interface and server-side code for both the Exchange Instant Messaging and Chat Servers. He served as Technical Member of the Real-Time Collaboration Group at Microsoft Corporation. He has been a Director at Fitbit Inc. since March 2007. Mr. Friedman holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Yale University.
