Mr. Patrick M. McGuirk serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Flagstar Bank, FSB. Mr. McGuirk is responsible for all legal operations and records management. He has been an Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Flagstar Bancorp Inc., since July 2015. Working in both private practice and for the federal government, he has nearly 20 years of banking and financial services-related legal experience. Before joining Flagstar in December 2014, he was Counsel to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, where he led investigations and litigation related to banks in FDIC receivership. Prior to his government service, he was a Partner in the New York office of Sidley Austin LLP, representing financial institutions and other corporations in complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of class action lawsuits alleging violations of the federal securities laws. From December 2014 to July 2015, he was the Company's Deputy General Counsel for Litigation.
