Goshen plant manager of 35+ years has a son that NEVER shows to work & still has his job!! D10 & Employees who have been 10+ years are OVER IT!!

I like working at forest river. I have been there for 7 years all together. My plant is very laid back and chill. We all get along for the most part. The management could be better. They tend to make spur of the moment decisions. Management very much relies on group leaders to problem solve.

They are laid back and relaxed. Which is both good and bad. They tend to think problems will work themselves out or rely on group leaders to fix things. Management also treats women like they're easily replaceable. They just dont show women the same appreciation and respect as they do men.

They are very approachable and always willing to help. They are big on continued training and personal development.

im not working there because my group leader and plt manager dont pay attention untill its to late

nobody pays attention to anything but there own jobs. Ive been in the rv buisness for 15 years and never spoke up now i am so if you see what i c put me in charge

They only want 40 year olds. That have years of experience.

15-18 total Skeleton Crew kept 5C open because the knowledge and work ethic. working solo for 16 weeks while trainer had carpel tunnel surgery both wrists.

All work together instead if against each other

I am my teem i repair all the forklifts by myself.

The communication as well as the topics. Most team members are comfortable enough with me to discuss his or her home experiences which I believe creates stronger working relationships within the team because this helps build trust.

Most days, the team members I interact with have positive attitudes and do enjoy working on the Forest River team, which is great to see and hear. Certain things are a little messy in the environment, but the team is currently working on these items which again, is great to see.

I enjoyed how the team members interacted with each other and myself. The body language and environment were relaxed which made me feel more comfortable.

There isnt much to say about the interview process. If you've done one interview for an RV factory then you can expect the same process from any others you get an interview at. They ask about job history, level of and years of experience. In many cases they take you on a tour around the plant.

Management needs to be more transparent about pay working conditions and expectations.

Working with the team members. Having the ability to provide input on many topics here as well as having the freedom to make positive changes. Constructive/positive communication between team members.

Standing up for coworkers when the boss belittles or intimidates them.

Encouraging others. Passionately defending our rights.

The coachmen complex needs actual investment to maintain it. The "cheap solutions" to maintain infrastructure are ridiculous and make everyone's jobs more difficult. Invest in and maintain the infrastructure and the company will be a better place. Right now its embarrassing.
