They are smart and hard working. They understand which tasks are important.
The people are the best thing about the company.
Most of the middle managers (aka people managers) as well as individual contributors were absolutely amazing. Near the end of my time it was quite literally the only thing that kept me working.
The former HR leader (not the current - shes a mess) did an incredible job building an employee-centric culture, so the tenured employees are/were imcredible to work with. Unfortunately, most of that has been destroyed by the current regime.
My team were workers. We had to support a broken product with no clear idea what the product was supposed to be.
My direct colleagues are the only reason I enjoyed my time at Formstack but towards the end, we were mutually commiserating about how unhappy we were.
The people were amazing. They were the only ones trying to keep the Culture alive. Despite the ELT's ham-fisted attempts to outright murder it.
Coworkers are amazing and just great people.
The people in the trenches. They are awesome. The people running the show are clowns.
The People at Formstack, in spite of the horrific work culture, do great things every day and truly care about lifting one another up. It's a shame they get ZERO support from the ELT.
The Amazing people that Formstack managed to hire, up until the beginning of 2023 are what made formstack. lifelong friends.
The feeling that we are really a family and fun!
Collaborative and transparent
It is hard to go to work everyday knowing how unhappy everyone around you is. When your favorite managers are no longer there and you have no support. Everyone is interviewing for other jobs so no one cares about the projects they work on anyway. Miserably depressed atmosphere.
