What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership Reviews

Everyone appreciates the genuine care and transparency that comes from the leadership team. It's apparent that they give their all and that a top priority is always to continue to be a great place to work.

Everyone is genuine and intelligent. The team works hard at communicating and collaborating, rather than politics.

They promote those who are both the most capable and the most kind. Being great and doing challenging work lives side-by-side with treating people with respect and empathy.

Thoughtful and transparent. Admit mistakes. Always improving and putting people first

The leadership team is transparent, honest, and caring. They work hard, evaluate themselves and the team regularly so that they can adapt to changes quickly.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

Generous time off and flexible work schedule.

Four Kitchens offers many excellent benefits that have a significant financial impact, but my favorite is the professional development stipend. It promotes the welfare of both the employee and the company by setting money aside for personal growth and improvements.

Liberal time off, flexible work hours/location schedule, reasonable work/life balance

The best benefits I've ever seen from a company including open paid time off and holidays, 100% health coverage, non-elective 401K contributions and a healthy professional development/tech budget

Open vacation, 401k matching, monthly accruing tech stipend, professional development budget.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

On my team we are able to work autonomously, but we also intentionally set aside time at least 2-3 times per week to connect and/or collaborate. I've never been made to feel silly for asking questions, rather the pursuit of knowledge and understanding is actually greatly appreciated.

My team is full of smart and creative people, but even better than this, they are GOOD humans.

There is an expectation that what we produce is of the highest quality, but it is also the most fun group of people that I have ever worked with.

self reflective, honest, helpful, smart

I feel like this is where I belong.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

We like to maintain a certain culture or environment, but it is extremely open. For example, when hiring, we look for those who will 'add' to our culture rather than those who will 'fit in.' There is always an outlet for concerns and a place where you can be heard.

People actually care about each other and there are little politics

We are all distributed but there is an enormous amount of thought and effort put into creating a great culture to make our work life (and our home life) the best that it can be.

people are funny, respectful, and smart. Time is allocated for team building, which is especially helpful being a remote team

Being fully remote means that the company environment is all online. We use Slack for both official channels and for hobby discussions. :-)

Working with smart, funny people who are excellent at their craft.

Working with people I genuinely care about and care about me.

Challenging projects and great people. Four Kitchens works hard to keep both.

The work is the good kind of challenging, the clients are smart, my coworkers are brilliant and kind, and I have a flexible schedule.

Working from home, working with such great people, having professional development time, interesting client work.
