Mr. James C. Flores, also known as Jim, serves as an Executive Officer of Plains Offshore Operations Inc. Mr. Flores serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Arguello Inc. Mr. Flores served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of FCX from May 2013 to April 4, 2016. Mr. Flores also served as the Chief Executive Officer and Vice-Chairman at Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas Inc from June 2015 to April 4, 2016. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas Inc. since September 2002 to April 5, 2016 and served as its President since March 3, 2004. From 1985 to 1992, he served as Vice President of FloRuxco, Inc. He was served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Devon OEI Operating, Inc since 1992 and its Chief Executive Officer since july 1995 and President since 1997. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Vulcan Energy Corp. from May 2001 to December 2002. He has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas business. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ocean Energy Inc., from July 1995 to March 1999. He has been the Chairman of Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas Inc. since September 2002. Mr. Flores served as the Chairman of the Board of the new Ocean Energy Inc. from March 1999 to January 2000 and as Vice Chairman from January 2000 to January 2001. From January 2001 to May 2001, he managed various private investments. He served as an Executive Chairman of Vulcan Energy Corporation from May 2001 to June 2004. He serves as a Director of Plains Offshore Operations Inc. He has been a Director of Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. since May 31, 2013 and Plains Exploration & Production Co. since September 2002. He served as a Director of Vulcan Energy Corporation since May 2001; Ocean Energy, Inc. from 1992 to March 1999; Nabors Industries Ltd. from January 26, 2005 to March 6, 2006 and McMoRan Exploration Co., from December 30, 2010 to June 2013. He served as the Vice Chairman of Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (FCX) from May 31, 2013 to October 6, 2015. Mr. Flores holds B.S. in Petroleum Land Management and B.S. in Finance from Louisiana State University.
