My overall experience has been absolutely incredible. I can't believe Galileo exists, honestly. If I had been told about this place years back, I would have a) called you a liar, and b) rushed out to check their open positions immediately. I love it here.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Our benefits are really, really good. There's a lot that Galileo does for its employees that is unheard of in 2020. Galileo definitely makes a focused effort on ensuring that its employees are well taken care of.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The total transparency of Galileo's leadership is such a refreshing trait in today's work world. It never feels like there are any major decisions being made behind closed doors that the rest of the team isn't aware of, or able to have input into.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We work hard, really hard, but we definitely play hard too. Plus, we have such a culture of recognition and appreciation, that you really feel like your work is important, no matter how large or small your role is in the grand scheme of things.
What makes you most happy at work?
I think the people I work with really make my day. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy what I do for the company, but it's really the stellar people that I work with that really make me happy at work and happy to go to work.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was very thorough, about six rounds, and everything is being communicated very clearly throughout the process. Plus, once arriving here, I understood why it had to be so thorough - the culture and vibe is so specific, you really want to make sure your new hires are going to fit in with the team.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The culture at Galileo is unlike any workplace I have ever seen. We get things done in such a determined way, but at the same time, have tons of fun with the people around us. All the way from the newest person to the most senior, everyone wants to enjoy their lives here, and it shows.
