Everything about the company is amazing however financially i may not be able to sustain the long drives to the work site without some kind of compensation or pay raise. Tampa site wanted to expand however theyre unable to pay their employess well when it comes to traveling.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Highly respectable people everyone on the job site. Safety is preached every day, friendly but sternly.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing i make a difference with the progress of finishing the job. The constant appreciation shown throughout the day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The clarity from the supervisors is anything like ive ever had at another company. Randy & Andy keep the job going in the right direction and I'm glad to be working for Gaylor Electric.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Comraderie is amazing, everyone works together, looks out for one another and cares. Its refreshing that being apart of Gaylor Electric can help me to learn more than i ever thought possible. I know im a valuable asset and look forward to the years to come.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I love being an electrician and i love working at all the jobs, however, Driving 50-75mi in my personal vehicle to the job sites is a bit overwhelming financially without any conpensation. Everything is growing more expensive and I'm beginning to grow unable to travel extensively without some help.
