My experience with Genentech has not been positive overall, mostly due to my being a contractor.

We are in an open space environment.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team cares about the work that they do.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to treat contractors in a fairer way.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like the fact that the products that the company makes help people.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The extras (stocks, bonuses). Working from home is a nice option, but it is not available to me.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
There are far too many interviews per position. The HR team needs to make sure they tell the person whether or not they have the job and provide feedback.
