  • that it is deeply dysfunctional. In 30 years, GA-ASI is the most toxic work environment that I have ever worked in. Everything is personality politics, rather than verifiable performance.

  • I wish I'd know about the politics and ego and petty infighting at senior levels of the company -- and that it gets in the way of actually getting anything truly accomplished.

  • The Senior Director is incredibly toxic. It's terrible.

  • The Senior Director is scattered, unresponsive, whose first response to any problem is blame everyone around else. He spends most of his time playing politics and trying to get promoted. Next level management down are smart, hardworking and team oriented. But, he openly takes all the credit for their accomplishments with little to no actual involvement in the planning or execution.

  • At the team level they are very smart. Very hard working.

  • The Communications Team are really smart, and incredibly hardworking. In the last year or so they have completely changed the perception of the company, and started several new, innovative campaigns. Great People. (Terrible place to work though, so I don't imagine that any of them will stay there for very much longer).

There is an annual review - but only your direct manager participates and HR has said that managers can say whatever they want (so if your manager says that you spend all day sleeping in your car - there's nothing you can do about it - even if you have written evidence that it's not true).
