Mr. Daniel C. Janki, also known as Dan, has been Senior Vice President and Treasurer of General Electric Capital Corporation since April 2014. Mr. Janki leads GE Treasury which is responsible for global funding and liquidity, cash management and treasury services for all of GE's worldwide operations. He served as Chief Executive Officer for Americas at Synchrony Bank. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of GE Energy Management at General Electric Company from July 13, 2011 to April 2014 and also served as its President until April 2014. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of GE Energy Infrastructure at General Electric Capital Corp. He served as Senior Vice President of General Electric Company. He served as Chief Executive Officer of GE Energy Management at GE Oil & Gas SpA. Mr. Janki served as the Chief Financial Officer of GE Energy Management since July 14, 2008. Mr. Janki served as the Chief Executive Officer for America operations at GE Money Bank (Stamford, CT). He served as Vice President of Corporate Investor Relations of General Electric Co., since February 24, 2006 and served as its Vice President of Corporate Investor Communications since March 1, 2006. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of GE Consumer Finance for Americas at General Electric Co. Mr. Janki began his career with GE in 1992, in the Financial Management Program and joined the GE Audit staff, where he held a series of global assignments, including a two-year role as an Executive Audit Manager in Asia. In 1999, he moved to the GE Capital 'e-business' team as a Finance Manager. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Americas for GE Consumer Finance. From February 2003 to July 2004, he built a finance organization designed to facilitate a rapid expansion into Latin America and the business' transformation into a multi-product company. Mr. Janki served as a Staff Executive for GE Corporate Finance and he served as the Chief Financial Officer of GE Equity from January 2001 to 2003. In 1999, he moved to the GE Capital 'e-business' team as a Finance Manager. Since 2003, he served as a Member of Vice Chairman Dennis Dammerman's staff. In that role, he led a variety of projects related to GE's insurance businesses, most notably the planning of the initial public offering of Genworth Financial in 2003. Mr. Janki received his B.S. degree in Finance and Accounting from Ohio State University in 1990.
