Mr. Karti served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of GE Healthcare Information Technologies. He is responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies for GE Healthcare globally. He has been with GE Healthcare for 15 years, having served in a number of business management, services, sales and marketing roles in the US, Asia and EMEA. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Regional Operations for Middle East Africa Turkey Central Asia & Russia CIS at GE Healthcare Ltd. since January 2011. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Eastern & Africa Growth Markets Region at GE Healthcare Ltd. He led and grew GE Healthcare in the following emerging markets: Turkey, Central Asia, Russia & CIS, Middle East and Africa. He successfully led market expansion building strong local capabilities and increasing partnerships with key public and private customers. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of GE Healthcare Korea Co., Ltd. He joined GE in 1996 in the GE corporate audit staff. He also joined GE Healthcare in 2000 in global business development and served in several general management, commercial, product development services leadership roles in the US, Europe and Asia. Before joining GE, he served as a Brand Manager with Procter Gamble. Mr. Karti has an Engineering Degree from Ecole Centrale de Lyon in France and also Graduated from the Entrepreneur Program of Business School of Lyon.
