Executive Bio

Mr. Kishore Sundararajan has been the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering for GE Oil & Gas at General Electric Company since May 2014. Mr. Sundararajan leads GE's team of engineers through a vision built on systems-level thinking, life-cycle value and customer collaboration. He works across GE leveraging technologies to advance solutions for remote, harsher and hotter environments. He has more than 25 years of experience leading multi-functional, multi-cultural teams across a variety of industries, including chemicals, oil and gas, metals, minerals and mining and pulp and paper. He previously held the position of global engineering leader for GE's Measurement & Control business. Mr. Sundararajan joined GE in 2014. Prior to GE, he served as Senior Vice President and Global Unit Manager, Industry Solutions at ABB Inc. His career progressed through roles in software development, systems engineering, sales, P&L management and leadership. He earned a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the India Institute of Science in Bangalore, India. He has a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science and a master's degree in petroleum engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the India Institute of Science in Bangalore, India.
