Mr. Neil Saunders serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Oilfield Equipment at Baker Hughes, a GE company. Mr. Saunders has more than 25 years' experience in upstream oil and gas industry. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Subsea Systems & Drilling at General Electric Company. He was responsible for all product lines, systems and global operations of the Subsea Systems& Drilling business unit. He served as Vice President of Subsea Systems & Drilling for GE Oil & Gas at General Electric Company since June 20, 2016. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Global Leader for Subsea Production Systems at GE. With a career spanning more than 25 years in upstream oil and gas, Mr. Saunders joined GE in 2007 as Regional Vice President for Europe, North Africa & Caspian and has held multiple executive positions in GE Oil & Gas. Previously, he worked at ABB Offshore Systems in Aberdeen, UK. He served as Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Vetco Gray, Inc. He worked for British Aerospace before joining Vetco Gray in 1991. He is a chartered engineer and a fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology. He earned a master of science degree in subsea engineering from Cranfield University & Heriot-Watt University and a master's in business administration from Henley Management College.
