Mr. Paul A. McElhinney has been Senior Vice President at General Electric Company since March 1, 2016. Mr. McElhinney is responsible for developing and delivering a global services strategy that offers electric utility and industrial customers the technology, knowledge, and insight to make better decisions across the entire lifecycle of their power generation assets. He has more than 25 years of operations and leadership experience. Since 2004, he served as an Officer of the General Electric Company. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Power Generation Services (PGS), GE Power & Water from May 2014 to March 1, 2016. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Services at GE Aviation since 2011 and also served as its Vice President of Legal and Business Development. He joined GE Aviation in May 2004 as Vice President and General Counsel of Legal Operations and assumed added responsibilities for business development in 2010. He served as Vice President of Legal Operations at GE Transportation Systems. He began his GE career in 1992 in GE Capital's Aviation Services in Shannon, Ireland, and in 1998, he was appointed Executive Vice President and General Counsel of GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). He started his career in Aviation Financing in 1988 at the GPA Group, which was later acquired by GE Capital Aviation Services. He sits on the board of the Cincinnati International Airport, as well as the Wake Forest University School of Business board. He is also a Member of GE's Corporate Executive Council, as well as GE's Services Council. He also serves on the Board of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Mr. McElhinney holds an Honors Degree in Law from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland in 1982.
