Executive Bio

Mr. Todd L. Smith is the Chief Financial Officer of GE Capital International. He started his career in GE in 1997 on the Finance Management Program. On graduating from the program he joined the Corporate Audit Staff and between 2000 and 2004 held a number of audit function roles, rising to become an Executive Audit Manager responsible for global audits for GE Commercial Finance. In 2005 he became the CFO of GE Commercial Finance Australia & New Zealand. In 2008 he became CFO in GE Capital Real Estate Asia Pacific and one year later he became the Global Controller for GE Capital Real Estate. From March 2012 until July 2013, in his role as CFO, he managed the Finance function of GE Life Sciences, a global division of GE healthcare, before returning to GE Capital to take up his current role. He holds a B.S degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
